Pediatric Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

About the role

This role involves collaborating with pediatric surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare providers to deliver tailored anesthesia care for pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive pre-anesthetic evaluations, assessing risks, developing individualized care plans, and obtaining informed consent
• Administering various anesthesia techniques such as general, regional, local, and sedation
• Monitoring physiological responses and adjusting anesthesia levels to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Providing post-anesthesia care
• Responding to emergency situations and managing airway and resuscitative efforts as part of the code team
• Educating patients and families on anesthesia processes, risks, and recovery
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Participating in teaching and mentoring
• Ensuring seamless perioperative care

Qualifications

• Master's degree (doctorate preferred)
• RN licensure
• CRNA certification
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications
• 0-2 years of experience preferred

Schedule

Full-time, onsite
