Pediatric Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

About the role

This role involves collaborating with pediatric surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare providers to assess, plan, and administer anesthesia tailored to pediatric patients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer various anesthesia techniques, monitor patient responses, and manage airway emergencies.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and manage recovery.
• Respond to emergency situations with airway management and resuscitation.
• Educate families on anesthesia, risks, and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless perioperative care.
• Mentor students, residents, or new CRNAs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (Doctorate preferred)
• RN licensure
• CRNA certification
• BLS, PALS, ACLS
• 0–2 years of relevant experience preferred
