Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Spray gel coat on molds within the CMP spray booth or small parts spray booth
- Apply gel coat within specified thicknesses and colors, free of defects
- Complete all duties required to maintain the schedule on the specified spray booth
- Wear specialized PPE with fresh air breathers while applying material
- Prime, start-up, operate, and shut down gel coat and catalyst pumps to support daily operations
- Complete documentation (ISPCS) for each part
- Maintain a good understanding of gel coat defects and associated root causes
- Train new Associates in that specific booth
- Maintain gel booth coverings and filters
- Serve as hose man assisting gel coaters in 4 booths
- Operate forklift
- Perform other duties as assigned
