About the role
Cogent Biosciences is seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team. This position will contribute to the development and advancement of precision therapies for genetically defined diseases, particularly focusing on the KIT D816V mutation and related cancers.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the research and development of novel targeted therapies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance drug candidates through clinical trials
- Support the analysis and interpretation of data from preclinical and clinical studies
- Prepare and present scientific findings at internal and external meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, or related fields
- Experience with molecular biology techniques and data analysis tools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- PhD in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
- Experience with advanced molecular biology techniques and data analysis tools
- Track record of successful publication in peer-reviewed journals
