About the role

Cogent Biosciences is seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team. This position will contribute to the development of precision therapies for genetically defined diseases, particularly focusing on the advancement of bezuclastinib and other targeted therapies.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the research and development of novel targeted therapies for genetically driven diseases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute clinical trials.
• Support the analysis and interpretation of data to guide therapeutic development decisions.
• Participate in scientific meetings and presentations to share research findings.

Requirements

• A PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant research experience in drug discovery and development.
• Experience with molecular biology techniques, including PCR, sequencing, and protein expression.
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and good laboratory practices.
• Experience with bioinformatics tools and databases.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
