About the role
Cogent Biosciences is seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team. This position will contribute to the development of precision therapies for genetically defined diseases, focusing on the advancement of bezuclastinib and other targeted therapies.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the research and development of novel targeted therapies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance drug candidates through clinical trials
- Support the analysis and interpretation of data from preclinical and clinical studies
- Participate in scientific meetings and presentations to share findings and collaborate with peers
Requirements
- A PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or a related field
- Experience in drug discovery and development
- Strong background in molecular biology, genetics, and pharmacology
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Track record of success in academic or industry settings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Skills
- Expertise in genomics and proteomics
- Knowledge of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics
- Experience with bioinformatics tools and databases
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines
