Part-Time Weekend CNA

About the role

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position providing home care services available on weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care, including personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and assisting with mobility and transfers.
• Administering basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision.
• Preparing meals tailored to client preferences and dietary needs.
• Offering companionship and engaging in activities suited to individual interests.
• Performing light housekeeping duties as needed.
• Documenting care activities accurately and reporting changes in the patient's condition.
• Adhering to the care plan and maintaining patient confidentiality and safety.
• Utilizing equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes, and following EVV documentation requirements.

Qualifications

• Current certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills, ability to follow directions, and perform physical tasks including lifting and standing.
• Compassionate attitude toward patient care.

This role involves physical demands, travel within the designated area, and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care. The position emphasizes dependability, adaptability, and adherence to care protocols without medication administration.
