Part-Time Weekend CNA

Role Overview

Provide direct home care services to patients in their residences, ensuring their health, hygiene, and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, shaving, hair, and mouth care.
• Support transfers, repositioning, and ambulation to promote mobility.
• Deliver basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and dietary needs.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities suited to their interests.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records, report changes in client condition, and document tasks using EVV systems.
• Follow the Plan of Care, uphold patient confidentiality, and report any abuse or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Ensure dependability by punctuality and adaptability to client and family values.

Qualifications and Skills

• Maintain active certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and following directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing.
• Compassionate attitude toward patient care.

The role involves traveling within a designated area, with no guaranteed hours or assignment length, and requires physical strength and adaptability to various patient needs and environments.
