Part Time - Store Associate

Role Overview

As a Retail Store Associate, you'll ensure the smooth operation of the store by delivering exceptional customer service, restocking shelves, slicing deli meat, receiving products, and maintaining a clean, inviting environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting customers professionally
• Stocking, cleaning, and rotating products on shelves and in coolers
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Resolving price discrepancies to minimize shrinkage
• Properly maintaining equipment and following food safety procedures
• Assisting other departments and supporting sales promotions
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge of retail store operations preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to differentiate product lines
• Courteous, friendly customer service skills
• Physical ability to stand, lift up to 80 lbs, and operate various equipment like slicers, mixers, and scales
• Basic reading and communication skills

Additional Details

Positions include cashier, deli clerk, produce clerk, bakery clerk, floral clerk, grocery clerk, dairy/frozen clerk, and utility clerk. The environment involves handling temperatures from 50°F to 90°F, requiring frequent standing, walking, handling, and lifting. Some retail experience is preferred.
