Part Time - Store Associate

About the role

The Retail Store Associate ensures the smooth operation of the store by delivering exceptional customer service, restocking shelves, slicing deli meat, receiving products, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean, inviting environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers professionally, fostering a sense of community.
• Maintain proper shelf, cooler, and case conditions through stocking, cleaning, and rotating products.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, cases, and equipment.
• Resolve price discrepancies to minimize shrinkage.
• Follow food safety, sanitation procedures, and proper equipment maintenance.
• Assist other departments as needed and collaborate on sales promotions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge of retail store operations is helpful.
• Accurate vision and ability to learn product lines and locations.
• Courteous, friendly customer service skills, and ability to read.
• Physical ability to stand, reach, lift up to 80 lbs, and operate various equipment.
• Experience in retail preferred but not required.

Work Environment

Store environment with temperatures ranging from 50°F to 90°F.
