Part Time - Store Associate

About the role

Role Overview: Join as a Retail Store Associate to ensure smooth store operations and provide exceptional customer service. Your key responsibilities include restocking shelves, slicing deli meats, receiving products, assisting customers, and processing transactions, all while maintaining a clean and inviting environment. Work in a grocery environment with temperatures ranging from 50°F to 90°F. This part-time role offers potential for full-time opportunities, with shifts varying by store needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Maintain proper shelf, cooler, and case conditions through stocking, cleaning, and rotating products.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in all areas, including cases, prep spaces, floors, and coolers.
• Minimize shrinkage by resolving pricing discrepancies promptly.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as slicers, ovens, fryers, and computerized machines.
• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols in line with regulations.
• Support other departments as needed and collaborate on sales promotions.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Basic retail store knowledge; ability to learn product lines and locations.
• Strong attention to detail, accurate vision, and friendly customer service skills.
• Physical ability to stand, reach, lift up to 80 lbs, and operate various equipment.
• Ability to read and operate kitchen and store machinery.
• Some retail experience preferred, especially for those with 0-2 years of experience.
