Part Time - Store Associate

About the role

Join our team as a Retail Store Associate, where your primary responsibility is to ensure smooth store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will restock shelves, assist customers, slice deli meats, receive products, and process transactions, all while maintaining a clean and inviting environment. Your role helps foster a sense of community and supports local families and neighbors.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers.
• Maintain proper shelf, cooler, and case conditions including stocking, cleaning, and product rotation.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of store areas.
• Minimize shrinkage by resolving price discrepancies promptly.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with regulations.
• Assist in other departments as needed and collaborate on store-wide promotions.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge of retail store operations is helpful.
• Strong attention to detail, courteous customer service, and ability to learn product information.
• Physical abilities including standing, reaching, lifting up to 80 lb, and operating various equipment such as slicers and scales.
• Experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required.
• This role involves working in a grocery environment with varied shifts and requires commitment to safety, productivity, and community values.
