About the role
Join a team dedicated to feeding communities as a Retail Store Associate, ensuring smooth store operations and delivering exceptional customer service. Position titles may vary, including cashier, deli clerk, produce clerk, bakery clerk, floral clerk, grocery clerk, dairy/frozen clerk, and utility clerk.
Responsibilities
- Restocking shelves
- Slicing deli meats
- Receiving products
- Assisting customers
- Processing transactions
- Maintaining a clean and inviting environment
- Collaborating with team members
- Adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Supporting store‑wide promotions
Qualifications & Skills
- Helpful retail store knowledge
- Strong attention to detail
- Courteous and friendly customer service skills
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 80 lbs, and operate equipment such as slicers, mixers, ovens, and scales
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness
- Some retail experience preferred
- Initiative, productivity, safety awareness, and a good work ethic
- Availability for first shift
