About the role

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers professionally.
• Maintain store presentation through stocking, cleaning, and rotating products.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in all store areas.
• Minimize shrinkage by resolving price discrepancies promptly.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as slicers, scales, and food prep tools.
• Follow food safety regulations during food handling and packaging.
• Assist other departments as needed and support store promotions.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge of retail store operations is helpful.
• Strong attention to detail, courteous customer interaction, and ability to read.
• Physical abilities include standing, lifting up to 80 lbs, walking, and handling equipment.
• Ability to operate various food prep and store equipment.
• 0-2 years retail experience preferred.
• Ideal candidates demonstrate initiative, productivity, safety awareness, and good attendance.
• This role is typically on the 1st shift and involves working in a grocery environment with temperature ranges of 50F to 90F.
