Part Time - Store Associate

About the role

Join our team as a Retail Store Associate, responsible for ensuring smooth store operations and delivering exceptional customer service. Your duties include restocking shelves, slicing deli meat, receiving products, assisting customers, and processing transactions, all while maintaining a clean and inviting environment. You will help foster a sense of community by engaging with diverse customers and supporting store functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer assistance
• Maintain proper shelf, cooler, and case conditions through stocking, cleaning, and rotating products
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in all store areas
• Resolve pricing discrepancies to minimize shrinkage
• Properly operate and maintain equipment
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures in line with regulations
• Assist other departments as needed and collaborate on storewide promotions
• Perform additional duties assigned by management

Qualifications

• Knowledge of retail store operations preferred
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 80 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks
• Proficiency in operating kitchen and store equipment such as slicers, ovens, and scales
• Experience in retail is preferred but not mandatory
