ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensure food and beverages are served professionally and promptly by circulating and communicating with kitchen and order takers.
- Handle guest issues and complaints to guest satisfaction at all times.
- Maintain the room service area to meet standards.
- Ensure staffing, supplies, and equipment are available for a positive guest experience.
- Hire, schedule, supervise, and control greeters, servers, and dining room attendants.
- Attend pre-meal meetings and conduct ongoing employee training.
- Assist in completing production and requisition reports.
- Aid in the distribution of necessary supplies.
- Assist in direct service as needed.
- Work safely, be aware of surroundings, and train staff to do the same.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Report any issues affecting the function, F&B department, or the Hotel to the manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
- Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Requires excellent computational skills.
- Must successfully complete T.I.P.S training for alcohol service awareness.
