ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ensure food and beverages are served professionally and promptly by circulating and communicating with kitchen and order takers.
  • Handle guest issues and complaints to guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Maintain the room service area to meet standards.
  • Ensure staffing, supplies, and equipment are available for a positive guest experience.
  • Hire, schedule, supervise, and control greeters, servers, and dining room attendants.
  • Attend pre-meal meetings and conduct ongoing employee training.
  • Assist in completing production and requisition reports.
  • Aid in the distribution of necessary supplies.
  • Assist in direct service as needed.
  • Work safely, be aware of surroundings, and train staff to do the same.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Report any issues affecting the function, F&B department, or the Hotel to the manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
  • Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Requires excellent computational skills.
  • Must successfully complete T.I.P.S training for alcohol service awareness.
