Part-Time Restaurant Supervisor

As the Restaurant Supervisor at a country club, you’ll lead a team of waitstaff, bussers, and hosts to create unforgettable dining experiences, ensuring every meal is a five-star performance.
You’ll oversee daily dining room operations, from staff management and customer service to coordination with the kitchen and event execution. Your role is to turn the dining room into a stage where every guest feels like royalty.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, schedule, and manage waitstaff, bussers, bar staff, and hosts.
- Train staff on service standards, country club policies, and proper dining etiquette.
- Ensure a high level of member and guest satisfaction; handle complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Oversee special requests, dietary restrictions, and personalized service.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food service and communicate special orders or dietary needs.
- Oversee the flow of service to ensure efficient delivery.
- Ensure tables are set up properly for service, including table linens, cutlery, glassware, and décor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining room; ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in planning and executing dining events, private parties, and banquets.
- Serve as the day-of-event point of contact for event coordinators.
- Monitor and manage dining room supplies, such as napkins, cutlery, and menus.
- Assist the Director of Food & Beverage in managing dining room budgets and controlling costs.
- Track and report sales or daily operations as required.
- Foster a positive work environment to encourage teamwork and collaboration.
- Set clear expectations and provide feedback to staff members.
- Perform all other duties as assigned based on business demands.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a country club or upscale dining environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, guest satisfaction metrics, and complaint resolution techniques.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and event management.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service.
- Certification in food safety and sanitation.
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Background in customer service and hospitality.
- Familiarity with marketing strategies in food and beverage settings.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality and customer service principles, focusing on delivering high-end experiences for members and guests.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Schedule
Regular business hours, holidays, and after regular business hours as necessary.
Pay
$20.00–$23.00 per hour.
