About the role
Implement treatment plans, provide patient education, and assist with exercises to enhance patient well-being under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Follow state laws and supervise treatment activities under a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Instruct patients in exercises, gait, activities of daily living (ADL), transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
- Monitor, document, and report patient responses and condition changes.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members and educate patients, families, and caregivers.
Requirements
- Current license, registration, or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Washington.
- Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, or access to public transit.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring patients.
