About the Role

A Phlebotomist III Float provides diverse and dynamic phlebotomy services across multiple patient centers and locations, offering flexibility and variety in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and prepare specimens for lab testing according to established procedures.
• Cover designated territories within Patient Service Centers, healthcare offices, or as needed.
• Collect various specimens, including drug screens and biometric exams.
• Enter billing information and handle payment collection when required.
• Mentor and support new staff, serve as a resource, and communicate regularly with supervisors.
• Travel between sites as necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in certain states.
• Minimum five years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Preferably three years in a Patient Service Center setting.
• Customer service experience and data entry skills.
• Effective communication in English.

Pay

Competitive pay rate starting at $22.38+ per hour.
