Part-Time Phlebotomist Float

About the role

The Phlebotomist Float performs blood collection and specimen processing across multiple locations, providing exceptional patient service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct venipuncture and capillary draws for diverse age groups
• Collect specimens for various tests
• Accurately enter patient data
• Prepare samples for testing
• Maintain logs
• Handle administrative duties

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid California Phlebotomy license
• 2+ years of experience preferred, including pediatric and geriatric care
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Customer-focused with ability to work in high-volume settings
• Pass color blindness tests
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation

Pay

$21.00–$33.00 per hour, with quarterly bonuses and additional hourly pay plus mileage reimbursement.
