About the Role
A Phlebotomist III Float performs diverse blood collection duties across multiple patient centers, clinics, and sites, providing flexible coverage and patient interaction in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Draws high-quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing.
- Enters billing information and collects payments as needed.
- Acts as a resource and mentor for new staff, providing guidance and support.
- May travel to various locations based on operational needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification required in certain states.
- Five years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Prior experience in a Patient Service Center and customer service is advantageous.
- Effective communication in English and data entry skills are necessary.
