About the role
Responsible for overseeing and managing a team of ABA therapists in a therapeutic setting. Provide direct supervision and support to ensure all therapy sessions adhere to evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Provide clinical supervision to ABA therapists, offering feedback and guidance to improve treatment outcomes.
- Develop and implement training programs for new and existing staff members.
- Conduct assessments and progress evaluations for clients to inform treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other professionals such as teachers, parents, and therapists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including progress notes, reports, and client files.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in ABA or related field, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques, including but not limited to discrete trial training, natural environment teaching, and functional behavior assessment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Current certification in ABA from an accredited program.
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for promoting positive behavioral change and improving quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
Skills
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and software.
