Part-Time LPN Medication Nurse

About the role

The LPN Medication Nurse provides critical licensed nursing support in a senior living environment, ensuring safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document accurately in MAR/TAR in real-time
• Monitor symptoms, report adverse reactions, and support symptom relief through medication management
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs) and transcribe physician orders
• Observe, report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residents
• Maintain medication carts, perform narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Preferred experience in senior care or medication administration
