Part-Time LPN Medication Nurse

Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medication Nurse in senior living environment. Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders, adhering to the Six Rights of Medication Administration.Document medication administration and health updates in MAR/TAR in real time.Monitor residents for symptoms, adverse reactions, and physical, emotional, or cognitive changes, reporting any concerns promptly.Support care plan updates by transcribing physician orders and conducting Service & Health Updates (SHUs).Maintain medication carts, perform narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Play a vital role in resident safety by preventing medication errors and early health change detection. Qualifications & Skills Active LPN license in good standing.CPR and First Aid certifications.Strong assessment and documentation skills.Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred. Key Duties: Providing safe, accurate medication management, health monitoring, precise documentation, and ensuring compliance to promote resident well-being and safety.
