Part-Time LPN Medication Nurse

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders, ensuring accuracy and safety through adherence to the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document all activities in MAR/TAR in real-time, monitor residents for symptoms or adverse reactions, and report any concerns promptly.
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs), transcribe physician orders, support care plan updates, and observe changes in residents' physical, emotional, or cognitive states.
• Maintain medication carts, perform narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Play a vital role in preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through clinical precision.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration is preferred
