Part Time - Foodservice Worker

About the role

Responsible for preparing cold and limited hot foods in production areas, serving trays, and cafeteria areas. Works in the dish room, receives deliveries, and assists in catering operations. Passes trays to patients and helps set up food trays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare salads and desserts per recipes and packaging instructions, producing specified quantities.
• Follow portioning and merchandising guidelines for patient trays, cafeteria, and catering areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in tray lines, cafeteria, and dish areas.
• Record food temperatures and replenish nourishment stations, documenting all items accurately.
• Adhere to sanitation standards across all work areas.
• Receive and store food and supplies per departmental policies, maintaining proper par levels.
• Process cafeteria charges accurately and report issues to supervisors.

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Ability to follow recipes, portioning, and sanitation standards.
• Attention to detail for record-keeping and charge processing.
