About the role

Performs routine foodservice tasks, including portioning, serving food, cleaning tableware, equipment, and work areas, following regulatory standards. Maintains professional service standards and adheres to safety and sanitation protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Handles various foodservice duties such as food preparation, packaging, and delivery.
  • Ensures all food areas are cleaned and sanitized per management and regulatory guidelines.
  • Records food and storage temperatures, manages food trays and storage.
  • Measures ingredients, receives and stores supplies and utensils.
  • Reads and interprets patient meal tickets, verifies patient identifiers, recipes, labels, and dates.
  • May handle cash transactions as needed.
  • Works in a clinical environment with a focus on compliance, safety, and quality service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in food preparation, serving, cleaning, or customer service is preferred.

Schedule

  • Weekend and holiday rotations.
