Foodservice Worker (Part-time)

About the role

Performs routine foodservice tasks, including portioning, serving, and cleaning tableware, equipment, and work areas, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards. Maintains a professional service standard while executing assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, packaging, and deliveries as assigned.
• Clean and sanitize food service areas following management and regulatory guidelines.
• Take and record temperatures of food and storage areas.
• Handle food trays, storing or serving them appropriately.
• Measure ingredients and receive, store, and organize food supplies, equipment, and utensils.
• Read and interpret patient meal tickets, confirm patient identifiers, and verify labels and dates.
• May handle cash transactions as needed.
• Work is performed primarily in a clinical environment and requires compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and department‑specific skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) preferred.
