Part Time - Foodservice Worker

About the role

Performs routine foodservice tasks, including portioning, serving, cleaning, and maintaining work areas to ensure a professional service standard.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, packaging, and delivery within the foodservice area.
• Clean and sanitize food service areas, equipment, and utensils per regulations.
• Monitor food safety by recording temperatures of food and storage areas.
• Handle food trays, store supplies, and measure ingredients as needed.
• Receive and store food supplies and equipment properly.
• Read and interpret patient meal tickets, labels, and recipes accurately.
• May handle cash transactions depending on departmental needs.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food preparation, service, or cleaning preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
