Part Time - Deli Lead

Role Overview: Lead daily department operations in a retail store, ensuring staff training, staffing levels, and adherence to company standards to meet performance goals. Key Responsibilities Manage inventory ordering, control procedures, and product quality to ensure freshness and proper storage.Oversee receiving processes, validate order accuracy, and ensure proper product storage.Supervise team activities including stocking, production, and quality assurance, with a focus on freshness and damage control.Maintain product knowledge and stay informed about sales, promotions, and store features.Implement and communicate weekly plans, manage schedules, labor, and payroll in support of department goals.Support in staffing, training, performance management, and career development of associates.Participate in meetings and ensure the department remains clean, well-stocked, and compliant with food safety and safety standards.Assist in achieving company KPIs, support safety protocols, and adapt to customer needs across departments. Qualifications & Skills High School diploma or equivalent; retail experience preferred.Strong communication, organization, decision-making, and leadership skills.Knowledge of retail operations, management systems, and suggestive selling is advantageous.Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; bilingual skills (Spanish) desirable. Physical & Environment Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied temperatures and conditions typical of retail environments.
