Part Time - Deli Lead

About the Role

This position leads daily department operations in a retail store, ensuring team training, staffing, and adherence to company standards and goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory, validate received products, oversee stocking and quality, and ensure proper product rotation and safety compliance.
• Support department staffing, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Implement store promotions, adhere to food safety and safety guidelines, and maintain a clean, attractive department.
• Participate in meetings, communicate plans, and support achieving department goals and KPIs.
• Assist with developing forecasts, managing labor, and controlling expenses.
• Support a positive guest experience and may assist in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations, management systems, and suggestive selling is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to speak Spanish may be preferred depending on location.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks in varied environments.
