Part Time - Deli Lead

Role Overview: This position oversees daily department operations in a retail store, ensuring staff training, staffing levels, and adherence to company standards to meet performance goals. Key Responsibilities Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining product quality and freshness.Validate received shipments for quality and accuracy, and ensure proper storage.Lead a team responsible for stocking, production, and quality control, including handling damaged products.Maintain knowledge of store products, promotional deals, and sales programs.Implement weekly plans, manage scheduling, labor, and payroll in collaboration with the department manager.Support department staffing, training, performance management, and goal development.Participate in meetings, ensure a clean, attractive environment, and uphold food safety and safety protocols.Assist in meeting company KPIs and support store-wide initiatives, including guest experience and safety standards.Perform additional tasks as needed based on customer and store needs. Qualifications & Skills High School diploma or equivalent; retail experience preferred.Strong communication, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Leadership ability and experience working in a hands-on environment.Knowledge of retail operations, management systems, and suggestive selling is a plus.Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; bilingual skills in Spanish are desirable. Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied temperatures.
