Part-Time Controls Technician

The Weekend Controls Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining production machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems. They analyze equipment performance, identify hazards, and perform repairs or programming updates to ensure production reliability. Key duties include using ladder logic programming with Allen Bradley platforms, documenting repairs via Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software, and troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic components. The role involves working with servo controls, variable frequency drives, and motors, as well as supporting machine improvements in collaboration with the Custom Equipment Process Group. Qualifications include at least 2 years of related experience, an associate’s degree in a technical field (preferred), and the ability to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses. Skills in PLC programming, digital multimeters, and Microsoft Office are essential. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills, documentation accuracy, and teamwork.
