The Weekend Controls Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems, primarily on Allen Bradley platforms such as RS Logix 500 and 5000. Key duties include diagnosing hazards, performing repairs, configuring servo controls and variable frequency drives, and supporting electrical and PLC troubleshooting across the plant. The technician will document repairs using enterprise asset management software and collaborate with technical staff to improve machine performance. Qualifications required are at least 2 years of related experience and a technical associate’s degree is preferred. Skills in PLC programming, electrical troubleshooting, motor operations, and use of digital multimeters are essential. Ability to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also necessary. This role involves working Friday to Sunday, 6:00am - 6:00pm, with training on day shifts before transitioning to evening shifts.
