Part-Time Controls Technician

The Weekend Controls Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled systems. They analyze equipment performance, detect hazards, and perform diagnostics using tools like digital multimeters and ladder logic programming, primarily on the Allen Bradley platform. Key duties include documenting repairs via Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), evaluating new equipment, configuring servo controls and variable frequency drives, and supporting electrical troubleshooting across the plant. The role requires 2 years of relevant experience and an associate’s degree in a technical field is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, obtaining forklift and aerial platform licenses, and basic motor troubleshooting are necessary skills. They work closely with maintenance and process groups to improve machinery performance and ensure safety.
