The Weekend Controls Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems, to ensure operational reliability. Key duties include analyzing equipment performance, repairing electrical and mechanical components, programming PLCs (notably Allen Bradley RS Logix 500 and 5000), and supporting machine improvements in collaboration with the Custom Equipment Process Group. They will utilize tools such as digital multimeters, servo controls, variable frequency drives, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, while documenting repairs and system parameters accurately. Qualifications include at least 2 years of related experiencean associate’s degree in a technical field (preferred)proficiency with Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Officeability to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses Ideal candidates are skilled in troubleshooting motors, controlling servo systems, and working closely with maintenance teams. Work involves observing equipment for hazards, interpreting system issues, and performing preventative maintenance.
