About the role
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care services, providing care to patients in their residences.
Responsibilities
- Delivering direct patient care, including personal hygiene assistance (bathing, grooming, oral care)
- Aiding with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
- Supporting prescribed exercises and basic nursing tasks under supervision
- Preparing meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Providing companionship and engaging in activities
- Performing light housekeeping
- Maintaining accurate records
- Adhering to the Plan of Care
- Proper documentation via EVV systems
- Ensuring patient confidentiality and safety
Qualifications
- Maintaining certification as a CNA
- Effective communication skills
- Physical capability (including lifting approximately 50 lbs)
- Compassionate attitude toward patient care
- Ability to travel within a specified area
