Part-Time CNA - Weekend

About the role

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care services, primarily working Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care, including personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and assisting with transfers and ambulation
• Administering basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision
• Preparing meals tailored to client preferences and dietary needs
• Offering companionship and engaging in activities suited to individual interests
• Performing light housekeeping duties and maintaining accurate records
• Monitoring and reporting changes in the client's physical or psychosocial condition
• Adhering to the care plan, ensuring confidentiality, and respecting patient rights

Qualifications

• Valid certification with DFS
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Effective communication skills, ability to read, write, and follow instructions
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and bending
• Compassionate attitude toward patient care

Schedule

This role involves travel within the assigned area, working in diverse home environments, and ensuring high-quality, personalized care. Primarily Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
