Part Time - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a part-time role in our home care division. You will provide support under the supervision of a licensed therapist, ensure effective care coordination, and engage in ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists with patient evaluations
• Prepare clinical and progress notes
• Develop treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on equipment and therapy programs
• Observe and report changes in patient condition
• Participate in case conferences and in-services

Requirements

• Current COTA licensure in Michigan
• CPR certification
• Valid Michigan driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Proof of insurance

Qualifications

Preferred candidates have at least one year of home care experience.
