About the role
Part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position in our skilled home care division.
Responsibilities
- Assist occupational therapists with patient evaluations
- Prepare clinical and progress notes
- Develop treatment plans
- Educate patients and families
- Observe and report changes in patient condition
- Help with patient rehabilitation according to the care plan
- Build positive rapport with clients and families
- Work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
- Ensure quality care
- Coordinate visits with supervising occupational therapists
Requirements
- Current licensure as a COTA in Michigan
- CPR certification
- Valid Michigan driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Proof of insurance
- Preference given to candidates with at least one year of home care experience
