About the role
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled home care team in a part-time capacity. In this role, you will assist licensed occupational therapists with patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and help with patient rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare clinical and progress notes
- Educate patients and families on equipment and therapy programs
- Monitor patient progress by reporting changes in condition
- Coordinate visits with therapists
- Participate in case conferences and in-services
Requirements
- Current COTA licensure
- CPR certification
- Valid Michigan driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Preferred minimum of one year in home care setting
