About the role
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide part-time occupational therapy services within a home care setting. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, assisting with patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, and helping with patient rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Preparing clinical notes
- Advising families and staff
- Observing and reporting patient changes
- Educating on equipment and therapy programs
- Participating in case conferences and in-services
Requirements
- Current licensure as a COTA in Michigan
- CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Proof of insurance
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in home care preferred
