About the Role

As a Teacher, you will lead, coach, and mentor less experienced educators, implement tailored curricula, and create a safe, nurturing environment for children. You will partner with parents and collaborate with center staff and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals. Building positive relationships with families, colleagues, licensing authorities, community contacts, and partners is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Model behaviors and provide feedback to support children’s development.
  • Ensure high-quality care and education in the classroom.
  • Maintain effective communication with families.
  • Contribute to a positive center culture.
  • Support center success through teamwork and shared objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong organization, customer service, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or meeting NAEYC requirements.
  • Preferred: 2-3 years of early childhood experience.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
  • Preferred: Approved state trainer status.
  • Preferred: CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Physical ability to lift 40 pounds.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Willingness to meet state-specific qualifications and obtain necessary certifications.
