Part-Time After School Teacher

About the Role

Early Childhood Educator supporting out-of-school time programs on school grounds, focusing on inspiring learning and fostering positive relationships with children, families, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor less experienced teachers
• Implement curriculum tailored to individual needs
• Create a safe and nurturing environment
• Partner with parents
• Collaborate with staff to achieve center goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement

Requirements

• Strong customer service and organizational skills
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAEYC candidacy
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Physical ability to work indoors and outdoors, lift up to 40 pounds, and engage in physical activity with children

Preferred Experience & Education

• 2-3 years in early childhood education
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
• State trainer approval
