Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Nurse Practitioner - Locum Tenens Inpatient and OR Coverage

Join a Level 1 trauma center as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in orthopedic trauma surgery. Key Responsibilities Include Managing complex orthopedic trauma cases with OR coverage, ICU rounding, hospital rounds, and post-operative visits.Providing emergency department support, consultations, and post-op care for approximately 20 patients daily.Handling 24-hour call shifts, including weekends, with responsibilities for reductions and washout procedures.Delivering care during day shifts (6am-2pm) and on-site support, with prescriptive authority required. Qualifications And Skills Include Experience in orthopedic trauma and ACLS or ATLS certification.Ability to perform reductions and washout procedures.Support staff includes ED support and RN team members. This role offers a dynamic environment with continuous patient care, requiring flexibility for day and night shifts, including call coverage. The position is onsite and focuses on delivering comprehensive trauma services in a high-volume setting.
