Role Overview

This position is for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) providing day shift coverage in a community-based healthcare setting, including clinics and operating rooms. The role involves delivering general orthopedic surgical care, requiring prior prescriptive authority and board certification. The NP will work on-site with full support staff, managing an average caseload of 10 patients per day, without on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform orthopedic surgical procedures and patient care in clinic and OR environments.
• Ensure compliance with prescriptive authority requirements.
• Collaborate with a full support team to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification in nurse practitioner specialty.
• Prescriptive authority in place prior to start.
• Experience in orthopedic care preferred.
