About the role
The Orthodontic Revenue Cycle Supervisor assists with the daily supervision of Revenue Cycle staff and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, organize, and implement current and future Revenue Cycle strategies.
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge in billing, claims submission, A/R claim follow-up, and payment posting processes.
- Develop strategic plans and execute programs for the Revenue Cycle team.
- Ensure Revenue Cycle teams are aware of well-defined goals and objectives.
- Perform and assist with quality assurance among Revenue Cycle departments.
- Develop policies, guidelines, and procedures, ensuring consistent company-wide implementation.
- Review and adjust cash flow and budgetary plans based on communication from the financial department.
- Provide feasible cash forecasting based on productivity, payment processes, and adjustments.
- Compile and prepare various status reports for management with analytical trends and recommendations.
- Conduct training programs subject to specialty programs.
- Assist staff with issues or concerns they may have.
- Manage and oversee staff time and job responsibilities.
- Perform counseling with staff on any disciplinary infractions.
- Assist with special projects and other assignments delegated by the Revenue Cycle Director.
Requirements
- Understanding of CDT codes and 837 terminologies.
- Managerial experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of insurance plans, member eligibility, and dental billing.
- Proficient in Google Suite/Sheets.
- Strong problem-solving and research skills.
- Must be analytical and detail-oriented.
