About the Role

A member of the surgical team, acting under the direction of a Registered Nurse, who works with the surgeon and RN in delivering patient care and assuming appropriate responsibility before, during and after surgery.

Responsibilities

• Scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to make calls
• Flexible, able to multitask, and work independently

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Surgical Technician training program
• 2 – 3 years of experience

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technician (required)
• NBSTSA Certification (required)
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association (required)

Schedule

• 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Full Time
• Alternating weekends, holidays, and call coverage
