About the Role

A member of the surgical team, acting under the direction of a Registered Nurse, who works with the surgeon and RN in delivering patient care and assuming appropriate responsibility before, during, and after surgery.

Responsibilities

• Scrub service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
• Make calls, multitask, and work independently with flexibility.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an OR Technician training program.
• 2–3 years of experience as an OR Technician.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technician (required).
• NBSTSA Certification (required).
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association (required).

Schedule

• Full-time, evening shift: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm.
• Alternating weekends, holidays, and call coverage.

Pay

Anticipated hourly wage range: $31.41 – $38.42 per hour for candidates hired to work in New Jersey. Compensation depends on educational background, skills, and professional experience.
