Operations Manager, Nova Academy - $60,000/year USD

About the role

This is an in-person position based at our Austin, TX campus. Nova Academy is committed to creating a reliable, trustworthy, and safe environment for students and families.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate trusted relationships with parents, students, and staff through clear, bilingual, proactive communication
• Oversee campus safety functions, including entry protocols, health incidents, emergency drills, documentation, and family notifications
• Manage day-to-day campus operations including attendance tracking, transportation logistics, facilities maintenance, and office coordination
• Facilitate onboarding and training for incoming staff to ensure seamless integration into campus procedures and culture
• Administer student devices and campus technology systems, acting as on-site tech contact and Google Administrator

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
• At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or comparable operational roles
• Comfort performing basic technology tasks including device setup, troubleshooting, and account administration
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to juggle multiple priorities with careful attention to detail
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both spoken Spanish and English

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Availability to work in person in Austin, TX, or willingness to relocate

Pay

$30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.

Schedule

The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The payment period is weekly.
